Love Comes Softly (FEOKElc)
Janette Oke

Introduced in 1979, Love Comes Softly established an enduring and endearing genre of fiction that has captivated readers of all ages and interests. Millions have laughed, wept, and rejoiced with Marty and Clark Davis, whose tragic circumstances threw them together on the frontier prairies of the late1800s.

The series includes 8 books each one depicting the life of one of the Davis' family.

Her Mother's Hope (FERIVhm)
Francine Rivers

Swiss-born Marta Schneider was her Papa’s least favored child, and his abuse pushes her to leave home and achieve great things, first in nearby Interlaken, later in England, then Canada, and finally in California, where she and her German husband, Niclas, settle down to raise their four children in the lull between the two world wars. Niclas is a godly and trusting man with a university degree who nonetheless has a powerful desire to work the soil. So it falls to shrewd and ambitious Marta to protect them all from greedy and unscrupulous folk who would take advantage.

Her Daughter's Dream (FERIVhd)
Francine Rivers

It’s 1951, and Hildemara is back in the hospital with recurring tuberculosis, so her mother Marta moves in to care for her grandchildren Charlie and Carolyn. Charlie is the light of their lives while Carolyn is neglected, with unfortunate consequences in her college years, including alcoholism and pregnancy. Single, unemployed, and with a baby to raise, Carolyn moves back home, where the past repeats itself. Her mother lays down the law for her daughter and takes over her granddaughter Dawn’s care, selfishly arranging matters to suit herself and pushing
Carolyn away, much as her mother had abused her. It isn’t until Dawn is an adult, heavily pregnant and missing her beloved army husband, who is serving in Iraq, that she realizes how each new generation of women has hurt her forebears. With her stepfather and mother-in-law’s help, Dawn resolves to stop the vicious cycle.

Fiesta Moon (FEWINfm)
Linda Windsor

When American social worker Corinne Diaz arrives at a remote mountain village to volunteer at a local orphanage, she thinks it's a slice of Mexican heaven…until Mark Madison shows up. Saved once again from the clink by his brother, the engineer promises to stay sober and fly right. Battling the kindling chemistry between them, the stubborn opposites are determined to dispel an old superstition threatening the new orphanage. As the dilemma becomes more sinister, things get hotter than a basket of habaneros. Little do Corinne and Mark realize that while they work to save the project-and their lives-the Mexicalli moon is working on them. Sometimes an added pinch of faith can make just about anything possible!

Blue Moon (FEWINbm)
Linda Windsor

Jeanne Madison has earned her PhD at 26 and secured funding to find and excavate a treasureladen 18th century caravel off the Yucatan coast. Between her mentor and a handful of graduate students, years of study, and all the government cooperation a marine archaeologist could want, she'll find the Luna Azul - or Blue Moon - by hook or by crook. When a tight budget forces her to hire Captain Gabriel Avery and his rust-bucket, Fallen Angel, the comely PhD's not sure it won't be the latter. The incorrigible skipper has the swarthy good looks of a Hollywood pirate and pushes every last one of Jeanne's buttons – even some she didn't know she had. His history of brawls, bullion, and well, romantic escapades may well sink the whole expedition. As the race for the Luna Azul treasure with an unscrupulous competitor gets heated, more than
the fajitas start to sizzle. Soon Jeanne, the captain, and her crew must take a gigantic leap of faith, one that may salvage more than gold - perhaps even a hardened heart.
